Congratulations to Andy Yost for getting his first win as Head Coach of West High. It took awhile — 15 games in fact — but the win was well deserved. The West Wolverines had to overcome a tough Mason City rushing game and some terrible officiating but could do neither on Friday night. The Mohawks scored 23 unanswered points in the second half to beat West 37-13 at Olsen Stadium.

The Wolverines overcame some poor free throw shooting in the 4th quarter to beat the Warriors 59-49 on Tuesday night at the West gym.
